1. Is Irvine the only high school at Grad Nite?
Yes, the Pre-Party, and the 65,000 sq. ft of Dave and Buster is for the exclusive use of Irvine High School Seniors.
2. Can my senior invite a friend or family member to participate?
No, the event is for Irvine High School Seniors only.
3. Can my senior drive themselves to Dave and Busters?
Unfortunately no, the PTSA Guidelines strictly prohibit individual drivers. All seniors must be transported by transportation provided by the PTSA.
4. If my senior decides not to go, is there a refund?
No, there are no transfers and no refunds for Grad Nite tickets.
5. Will my senior need additional money at Grad Nite?
No, everything is included – unlimited games, food, and soft drinks.
6. Can my senior bring a cell phone?
Yes, your senior can bring a cell phone, camera, and any other personal items. No backpacks or large purses, any small purses are subject to search in order to secure a safe and sober environment.
7. Are there lockers or a safe place where my senior to store their jackets, etc?
Yes, there will be a bag check area to safely hold on to cameras, jackets, purses, and other items. Note: The Grad Nite committee and Dave and Busters are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Please leave valuables at home.
8. Can my senior leave early?
It is not encouraged, but if your student must leave, please make arrangements with the check-in chaperone at the beginning of Grad Nite. Only a parent or legal guardian can pick up their senior.
9. Can the parents volunteer to Chaperone?
YES! Please go to the volunteer page volunteer and click on the link to see the available shifts.
10. What kind of entertainment will there be?
Although we don’t want to divulge all the surprises of Grad NIte, we can tell you that there will be a hypnotist, photo booth, unlimited games, smoothies, hot food, great prizes, dancing, crafts, a chill room (where one can just veg out and take a break), Monte Carlo Games, and the list goes on and on.
11. All of this sounds like a lot for $100. How does the PTSA pay for all of it?
The ticket sales help a lot, but thousands of dollars are earned through parents helping at fundraisers like; Bingo in July, 50/50 sales at football games, mug sales, and many requests for corporate donations. Any donation anyone would like to make is greatly appreciated. Go to ticket sales and click on the section for donations.
12. What happens if a student is caught with alcohol?
Hopefully this will never happen, but in case it does happen, the child will be placed with an adult chaperone in a separate room until their parent arrives to pick them up. If no parent is available the police will determine the appropriate course of action.
13. How many Chaperones will there be?
There will be 25 chaperones per shift in addition to the Dave and Busters staff.
14. What is the dress code?
The seniors should wear comfortable casual clothes. Please no oversized clothing or bulky jackets. Comfortable shoes are encouraged.

Permission Form
All Seniors going to Grad Nite must turn in a Permission Form. Mail or have your student turn in the form to the Spur Shop during break or lunch time.(Checks made payable to IHS PTSA note Grad Nite in memo area) to:
